We've seen Montreal Canadiens' general manager Marc Bergevin continue his reset and take the next step as he's added two reliable veterans to the lineup.

However this might just be the beginning as Georges Laraque believes it's setting up for a blockbuster.

Laraque believes that the acquisition of Joel Edmundson is a move that indicates Alexander Romanov will be traded so the Canadiens' can land a Top 3 forward.

Bergevin has done it before by sending Mikhail Segachev to the Tampa Bay Lightning in return for Jonathan Drouin and while it would be surprising to see Bergevin do the same type of deal again, Georges Laraque is convinced that the GM is preparing a blockbuster.

The Habs absolutely need to find a winger who can score goals to complement Nick Suzuki or Jesperi Kotkaniemi in the top 6, but it would be very surprising to see him come over in a trade for Romanov.

Do you think that now that the Canadiens' have built up their prospect pool it's time to sacrifice one for some elite talent?
