The Montreal Canadiens lost another one on Saturday afternoon as they got downed by the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime.
What makes matters worse, the team might have lost one of their best defenseman for an extended period of time.
According to various report, it seems that Mete has possibly suffered a MCL injury.
That would likely mean that Mete will sidelined at a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
With Jeff Petry struggling, that would leave the Habs with only two reliable defenseman at the moment in Shea Weber and Ben Chiarot along with Cale Fleury to a certain extent.
Mike Reilly and Brett Kulak have both looked brutal so far this season.
Potential MCL injury for Victor Mete and a 4-6 week absence Hopefully we get more info tomorrow from the @CanadiensMTL to confirm this #GoHabsGo https://t.co/I1q7EzAxsN
