The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin have been making moves left and right this offseason.
He's re-signed a handful of players including Jeff Petry and Brendan Gallagher as well as bringing in a great group of guys in Jake Allen, Joel Edmundson, Tyler Toffoli and Josh Anderson.
While this has been happening, soon to be UFA Phillip Danault has kind of been put on the back burner.
He has one year left on his deal and it doesn't sound like he'll be getting an extension like Petry and Gallagher did this offseason.
While speaking to Brendan Kelly of the Montreal Gazette, Danault's agent Don Meehan said contract talks are dead.
“Marc Bergevin has parked the whole process,” said Meehan.
Do you think it's the end of the road for Danault in Montreal?
