Yesterday we learned that former Laval Rocket head coach and Montreal Canadiens player Sylvain Lefebvre had been fired.
His dismissal was due to his refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine and now another former Habs' player finds himself in the same position.
Former Canadiens' defenseman Brett Clark has been fired by the Colorado Eagles the Colorado Avalanche's AHL team.
"Under the League's new protocols, I am not authorized to perform my duties on the Eagles coaching staff at this time," Clark said in a statement. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to resuming my coaching career soon. "
The Eagles have replaced him with Tim Branham from their ECHL team.
More details to come.
