Much has been made about the Pittsburgh Penguins making defenseman Ian Cole available over the last 24 hrs and some fans even wondered if the Habs should make a move for him.
With Cole being a lefty and the Canadiens still looking for answers there, it would be quite the interesting acquisition. Unfortunately that price would be way too high for the Canadiens, especially if Jerabek continues to improve.
Instead of giving up some talent from their top nine for Cole, the Habs could have a cheaper option available for free.
The Minnesota Wild just announced that they've placed defenseman Kyle Quincey on waivers. With the Habs already clogged up with defenseman, do you think he would still be better to have around than Brandon Davidson or Joe Morrow?
Quincey signed a one year deal with the Wild during the offseason for $1.25million and has three assists in 18 games this season.
Would you like to see the Habs claim Quincey off waivers?
